Site Analysis

This is part of the project analysis; The Site location & Site commerce.
Based on the research and the site analysis that i did on site 3 (300 Coffey street. Brooklyn, NY 11231). I found out that Red Hook in Brooklyn is more than your typical Brooklyn neighborhood. It's a work in progress, defined by a mixture of light industry, open space, residential enclaves and a still palpable sense of urban pioneering. The population density here is lower than in most of Manhattan, so it can seem, by comparison, very quiet. The site is located just off the bank of the water edge and its offers greats views of the Statue of Liberty and Governors island in the Hudson River. I also noticed that the building located on site 3 have the same building technology and finishes of the other buildings around the Red hook area.
